Bad news: I think I’m getting sick again. My throat is sore and I’ve been sneezing all day long!
Good news: I’ve been looking for warm coats for this winter, and last weekend I found the most perfect black fur coat. And tonight Taurin surprised me with an early Christmas present–the tan fur coat that I’ve been eyeing for a few weeks!
Another good news: My Chinese is improving. I successfully called a Shanghainese restaurant and made a dinner reservation in Mandarin. We ate the most delicious crispy pork and drank copious amounts of ginger oolong tea.

December 13, 2010 at 8:37 pmwoah, in the whole history of fashion? dang girl!
I love your coats. Especially the fur one! Yesterday I was running around the house in my mom's giant white mink coat, feeling luxurious. Fur things are so warm. I am at work and feel like a zombie today, so I'm happily wasting time on your blog. I like the new layout, and I really like that brooch you took a photo of. Anyway, miss you!

December 13, 2010 at 11:27 pmThe same thing happened to me, I went from no coats to two! Yours are lovely, by the way.
And yay for improving your Mandarin. It's always especially terrifying speaking a foreign language on the phone I find. Um, I can't even imagine that in Chinese….
