Wong Kar Wai heroines and my vintage yellow dress

Last weekend I took a trip up north to attend Gi’s wedding and even got to see my friend Arthur. It was nice to travel up the east coast, where it’s a couple degrees cooler. Boston felt like a quaint little town hidden inside a giant city. I still don’t quite understand Rhode Island but the wedding was fun. The weather was perfect. But every time I felt a tad-bit overwhelmed, I’d just look at the wedding planner–completely calm and composed, walking around to make sure everything was going smoothly. She’d glance at each round table to make sure everyone had their plate of blushing steamed lobsters. She even remembered to polish the cake knife. I’ll post some photos later.

My life is quiet here at home. I work in an office during the day and in the afternoons, I search for delicious food around town with my friends. But most of the time, I organize my belongings and watch movies in my room.

I screen-capped these last night. Fallen Angel (Wong Kar Wai, 1995):

I love Wong Kar Wai heroines and the vintage yellow dress I rescued at a secondhand shop in Prague.
