Two perfect winter coats

Bad news: I think I’m getting sick again. My throat is sore and I’ve been sneezing all day long!

Good news: I’ve been looking for warm coats for this winter, and last weekend I found the most perfect black fur coat. And tonight Taurin surprised me with an early Christmas present–the tan fur coat that I’ve been eyeing for a few weeks!

Another good news: My Chinese is improving. I successfully called a Shanghainese restaurant and made a dinner reservation in Mandarin. We ate the most delicious crispy pork and drank copious amounts of ginger oolong tea.

“‘You must not let fatigue set in,’ she warns. ‘That is what my mother said. Let your body work until it is spent, but keep your mind for yourself.'”

woah, in the whole history of fashion? dang girl!

I love your coats. Especially the fur one! Yesterday I was running around the house in my mom's giant white mink coat, feeling luxurious. Fur things are so warm. I am at work and feel like a zombie today, so I'm happily wasting time on your blog. I like the new layout, and I really like that brooch you took a photo of. Anyway, miss you!

The same thing happened to me, I went from no coats to two! Yours are lovely, by the way.

And yay for improving your Mandarin. It's always especially terrifying speaking a foreign language on the phone I find. Um, I can't even imagine that in Chinese….
