Tonight Ed and I went to the fried chicken place down the street for dinner. They have a crispy chicken sandwich combo that comes with fries and milk bubble tea. We put a ton of hot sauce on everything and watched Running Man.
Next week around this time I’ll be walking around Hong Kong, maybe eating some Indian food at the Chungking Mansion. I can’t wait!
*Photos of paintings from the M50 art district, me posing in my post-banquet outfit at a magazine launch party, a flower shop somewhere, inside Thai Cai Sine, a bowl of noodle soup at a delicious southern barbarian cuisine restaurant and their North Korean propaganda poster collection, and one of The Shelter (it used to be a bomb shelter) the night Kode9 came to town.
Thanks to the moon festival, I’ve been enjoying my days off of work and watching the full moon with my friends. One of my students gave me a gift certificate for a box of ice cream moon cakes from häagen-dazs. Yum! 快乐的中秋节!
