Life on the clock

It’s been almost three months since I started my first full-time job in China, and I’m finally good at what I do. While there is no one to give me a pat on my back or a semester report card to validate my successes, I am satisfied.

These days I am focusing on balancing my work life and my personal life. The biggest struggle is leaving my desk when the clock strikes 4. It’s hard to put everything down and go home. And once I am home, it’s hard to sit down long enough to work on my projects.

I remind myself that my time is sacred, especially when I am not on the clock.

*Outtakes from my recent event photography work. Taken at Dr. Wine, Glamour, and around the French Concession area.

I thhhhiiinnnkkk were around the same age (22?) and i'm not gonna lie, I'm really impressed that you have a full time job (and in China no less!) My friends and I are pretty much eeking out an existence until we find career paths…we'll see how long that takes 😉 I might have missed this in a post but what do you do for work?
