Daily Life Photos Virginia

Home sweet home, Virginia!

I had no idea homecoming would be so eventful here in the suburbs of Washington D.C. It’s good to be home with my family, childhood friends, and my quiet lime green room overlooking a lush forest with shy deer families hiding somewhere.

My 9-5 office job starts on Monday and it’s a little scary how easy it is to slip back into living a life on a firm schedule. It’s comforting to know D.C. is so close. We can always blast A-trak remixes with our windows down on 395. I can’t wait to go sailing down the Potomac and have picnics by the sculpture garden. Home is comfortable but that doesn’t mean we can’t go on adventures!

View of Washington D.C. from Casey’s sister’s apartment rooftop, jazz + sangria in the national gallery of art sculpture garden, arguably THE best pizza in town at 2 amys, and night drive through adams morgan.

Oh man, good luck dear! I hope while you were in Mexico you found what you were looking for.

Going home though is always cozy. There is something about it that makes home the place to be. Maybe it's the familiar faces, Moms cooking, etc. Who knows? But I'm glad to hear you're happy.

this convinced me that DC's full of good adventures. Let's go into the city this week/this weekend! I can even drive because my parallel parking skills have REALLY improved.

I too have been so pleasantly surprised by your blog. Inspiring, too.
My best friend just moved to D.C. and is in desperate need of some friends, where should I tell her to go…?
