Merry Christmas! It’s wonderful to be back home warm and safe with my family and friends. I’m practically going into a food coma thinking about the holiday meals I’ve been eating..
Christmas Eve brunch at Paul’s:Β Thomas Keller’s mushroom quiche by Paul
Homemade rosemary and clove infused vodka by Ara
The Christmas Eve brunch group photo!
Taurin’s grandparents have an amazing Christmas tree full of vintage ornaments and lights
I think it took at least two hours to open up all the presents. The kids were so excited.
Christmas Eve dinner: perfectly roasted pork, veggies, and mashed potatoes + gravy
Taurin’s aunt is a chef based in southern France, and she baked just about everything on the dessert table
My chocoflan: tres leches flan + dark chocolate cake covered in caramel
The Christmas dinner at my family’s house: Momofuku pork belly ssam with all the fixings, steamed king crab legs, soba noodle salad, and matcha ice cream mochi
Pork belly lettuce wrap with aΒ dollopΒ of homemade peanut ssamjiang
P.S. I’m participating in Craft it Forward!
