I can’t believe it has only (already) been 2 weeks since I moved to Shanghai. My apartment is slowly feeling less like a clean hotel room and more like my home. Despite the language barrier, I have been avidly exploring the city and eating everything from bull frog stew to horse meat steak. Most days I eat noodles and soupy dumplings down the street from my place.
I celebrated my 23rd birthday just three days after traveling across the ocean and arriving in a brand new city. And this new city just happened to be the biggest city in the entire world! So my birthday passed by quietly but I think my 23rd year is going to be very eventful!
