Back to normalcy

I’ve never been so grateful for good health. Just when I stopped waking up from coughing in the middle of the night, I got food poisoning that lasted a couple days. Now that I am finally well, I’m feeling exceptionally happy about everything.

Despite my failing health, last week was a ton of fun. Bound Editorial hosted an art opening, where my photographs were included and Taurin was DJing. It was held at this really amazing art gallery hidden in an alley off of Weihai Lu. The walls were torn down and dusty, and there was a bird cage hanging from the ceiling.

On Thursday, I saw Das Racist at the Shelter. It’s funny that the last time I saw them was in Monterrey, Mexico when I was living in Mexico.

We were holding hands.

Well, I’ve got my fingers crossed for a good night sleep and no sore throat in the morning. Maybe I’ll even go run a few miles at the gym tomorrow.

I'm glad you're feeling better! And that's really sweet that you got to exhibit your photos. Oh, guess what? I just gave myself a haircut!
