Walking towards a spring of fresh water

It’s been perfectly sunny and warm this week, but I’ve somehow caught a cold. I’m considering it a good excuse to wear cozy sweaters, drink hot toddies with extra lemon, stroll by my favorite book stores, bring home sweet desserts, and eat plenty of soup at home. At busy times like these, I don’t mind my body reminding me to slow down a bit.

Recent book purchases: Uncocoro, an illustrated Japanese book about “intestinal health” and The Little Prince in Chinese (I can officially read The Little Prince in four languages now!)

“What is essential to the heart is invisible to the eyes.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

I’m bursting with ideas and ready to regain my strength, because there are lots of exciting things coming up in November. Zeolite and I are working on a collaborative project. I’ll be opening up a small online shop of little things I’ve been crafting. I’m also planning on hosting a giveaway of lots of handmade goodies to share with you!

As usual, your pictures are beautiful and exciting C: I look at sickness the same way. It means your body NEEDS a break, all my peers seem to see it as just a bother to be squashed with picking up the pace. WRONG. 😀 p.s. veggie burger makes me hungryyyy

Sometimes you’re just so busy, it’s hard to rest at home. But frankly, I feel so much better after resting all day yesterday. 🙂

Aw, I’m so happy to hear the camera arrived safely, especially right before your trip!

Hm, since it’s such a basic toy camera, you have to make sure the roll of film is securely in place, wind it carefully, and double-check to make sure the spindle is moving clockwise. It’s a good idea to do this until you know that the film is wrapped tightly around the spindle. Once you’re sure that the film is winding properly, you can finally close the camera “back door,” wind it again, and finally start shooting.

      Good luck!
