When I arrived home exhausted from my 14+ hour flight, I was pleasantly surprised by the small stack of packages waiting for me from all over the world. I can’t wait to take time to explore each one, and post about them in the upcoming week. For now, here are lovely handmade winter gifts from Coco and Claudia:
Carefully wrapping up my photo zine, drinking pu’er tea in tiny teacups from Korea.
Did you notice the beautiful hand-made coaster?
Coco sent me these coasters along with and tiny seeds from Japan. Her blog reminds me of quiet winter days at home, drinking tea and knitting in a cozy chair by a window.
As part of part of Craft it Forward, Claudia sent me some hand-stamped gift tags, a Christmas card, a deer button, an envelope, an origami star, and a letter. It was really thoughtful of her to send me a holiday-themed package.
Now it’s my turn to continue Craft it Forward. I will send something handmade to the first 5 who leave a comment. Just mention in the comments that you want to participate.
**After you receive my surprise, you have to do a blog post about what I’ve sent you and continue Craft it Forward (send something handmade to the first 5 who comment). It can be anything (photo prints and zines or something sewed, painted, felted…anything you like), as long as it is handmade by you and sent out before the end of 2012.
So, who wants to Craft it Forward?

December 28, 2011 at 1:04 pmHey Sewon!
I didn’t get the surprise mail you told me you had sent some weeks ago…
Should i worry?
I’m ashamed to say your parcel has been ready and waiting for me to send it for ages (a month or something!?)…
Sorry about that. My fun life stopped for a month due to my heavy work life…
Please tell me (again) (SORRY!) where i shall send it now,
and yes i’ll post about what you sent me as soon as i get it ***
Best wishes!
Sewon
December 28, 2011 at 3:12 pmOhh don’t worry! I’ve learned that sometimes it takes ages for mail to go through customs in China. My first mail exchange there was with Johanna, and we were both so worried because her mail didn’t arrive for nearly two months. Then it arrived one day along with all the letters that we thought were lost. So strange! I’ll get in touch with you via e-mail soon!
