“A Dream China Vacation”

dream vacation opener

Amanda is a Shanghai-based designer and a friend of mine. She spent weeks and weeks putting together this stop-motion video for a chance to win a trip around China’s southwest. And she’d get to visit me in the Yunnan Province!

If you want to help Amanda win her dream vacation, please “like” her video on Youtube!

P.S. Have you ever made a stop-motion video?
I’m feeling so inspired to make one of my own (but for now, just wistfully watching finished works)!

These videos are amazing: one + two + three + four

You should totally try to make one! You have so many cute crafty supplies, too. I wonder what your stop motion would look like if you went through with it. 🙂

That´s amazing! I have to admit what I love maybe the most is the first part when we see her walking! It´s so good.

I never did a stop motion video, but when I was in fine art S… a lot of friend did, so much work & so much hours.

Yeah, I really like her choice of locations around Shanghai. And yeah, I can’t imagine how long it takes to make a paper figurine move for just a few seconds!
